Diani Beach is located 35 kilometres South of Mombasa, Kenya’s second city and East Africa’s largest port. As Mombasa is on an island there is a short trip across the Likoni creek on a ferry. Situated 300 meters from the Diani Beach main shopping centre and 600 meters from the beach are 15 fully furnished cottages for short, medium or long term rental.

 

Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, a shower/toilet, fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining/living area, a spacious terrace and laundry facility. Optional services available for a small fee include local TV, wireless internet, cleaning/laundry and a cook. The compound is 1 hectare (2.4 acres) and has a relaxed, tropical garden atmosphere. The cottages are 70 square meters and suitable for up to 4 people.

 

The central area has a swimming pool with a bar/restaurant and car park. Food and drinks are available from 10 am to 10 pm and can be served on your terrace on request.

Komba Cottage is part of Kijiji Cottages (« little village » in Swahili), with its white painted walls and makuti thatch roofs (coconut palm) in the middle of small lanes surrounded by mature, well grown vegetation and gardens, a few metres from the superb tropical beach of Diani, the most beautiful beach resort in Kenya, 25 km south of the town of Mombasa. Palm fringed, white sands, coral beach, its turquoise waters and coral reefs are perfect for diving and snorkeling.

 

You can also have access to the villages’ swimming-pool. Komba cottage is a spacious house with two comfortable double rooms en suite, a large living-room, dining room, an outside flowered yard, a well equipped kitchen. A safe is also available.Omar, the cook, will prepare your meals and clean the house during your stay.
