5 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

DAY 1
Pick up from your hotel at 0400hrs driving to Taveta boarder arriving for lunch at Arusha town.After lunch then drive to  Lake Manyara national park for evening game drive.Lake Manyara national park lies serene, spreading in a heat haze backed by a thin green band of forest and sheer 600 meter red brown cliffs of the escarpment. The park holds 400 varieties of birds, including thousands of red-billed quelea floating over the water like swarms of giant insects, pelicans, cormorants and pink streaks of thousands of flamingo on their perpetual migration. Dinner and overnight at Panorama Camp.

DAY 2
After breakfast game drive enroute to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. More than 6 million hooves pound the legendary plains of the Serengeti every year, triggered by the rains. There are more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 300, 000 Thomson’s gazelle which gather and undertake the long trek to new grazing lands. The Serengeti is renowned for it’s wealth of leopards and lions. The vast reaches of the park help the black rhino to fight extinction and provide a protected breeding ground of vulnerable cheetah. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp.

DAY 3
Early morning game drive then breakfast, after breakfast another game drive up to lunchtime then back to the camp for lunch, relax then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight Seronera Camp.

DAY 4
After breakfast game drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch, the first view takes your breath away. Ngorongoro is a huge caldera or collapsed volcano, 250 square kilometers and 23 kilometers wide. The crater has an average depth of 600 meters. Its spectacular setting and abundance of wildlife combine to make it a wonder of the natural world. The crater alone has over 20,000 large animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Simba camp.

DAY 5
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater for full day picnic lunch, and then back to Arusha for your transfer to Kenya.
